IT can no longer be viewed as a separate discipline, as the application of computer is spreading through in all the areas like physics, chemistry and commerce etc. So every individual is needed to have a fundamental knowledge in computer technology. Tamilnadu government appreciated this need and conceived a scheme through the Directorate of collegiate Education and Electronics Corporation of Tamilnadu to impart computer literacy to non-computer students in Govt. Arts & Science Colleges. That scheme is termed as Computer Literacy Programme (CLP) and is running in our college. Students can join in this course on their willingness
