The College is located in a 100 acre campus at Kidarankondan
on Thiruvarur-Nagapattinam Road, about 20 kms from Nagapatinam
and about 5 kms, from Thiruvarur.

Laboratories:
Well equipped laboratory facilities are provided as per
the educational regulations of the concerned university.
Physical Education:
The
institution has a vast and well laid out playground on which
students are trained by a qualified Physical Director and
his team of assistants. Students are encouraged to participate
in various intercollegiate competitions where by they are
given chances to exhibit their talents so as to win medals
and trophies.
Library: The
library at This college has been aesthetically designed
to cater to the large number of students and staff. It is
well furnished in conformity with library standards.The
carefully chosen collection in the library consists of (a)
Books which relate directly to subjects in the Curriculum
of the various courses (b) Books which deal with related
topics or allied fields of study in the Curriculum (c) Reference
books which include dictionaries, encyclopedias, year books,
atlases etc. (d) Selected books of general interest of collateral,
extra - curricular or recreational reading and (e) the learned,
scientific and popular periodicals and journals.
Co-operative Store:
Co-operative
store has been working in this college since 1973. The Notebooks,
Books, and all stationary goods are available here at low
cost. The first year students are joining it as a member
by remitting membership amount. The students are at liberty
to buy the books of their choice based ontextual requirements.
Transportation: Kidarankondan
is well connected by City Transport Corporation buses. The
college is situated at exactly 5 Kms. from Thiruvarur and
20 Kms from Nagapattinam. Frequent bus services provides
better transportation.
Hostel:
The Institution has three hostels two for men and one for
women located separately in permanent buildings for the
convenience of outstation students. They are run by the
Backward classes and the Harijan Welfare Department of the
Government of Tamilnadu. The room rent and establishment
charges are fixed and colleted according to the norms issued
then and there by the Government.
Canteen:
As students come from villages some of which one about 50-60
kms from the college, a canteen has been started to provide
quality tea, coffee and snacks the prices are comparatively
charges. The canteen is open from 9 a.m to 5 p.m and there
is scope to develop it into a full fledged one. |
