The National Service Scheme in this college has been operating with 400 students under four Units. There are four officers to manage this scheme by organizing camp and other activities. Various kinds of social service are being done by the N.S.S groups. This scheme also helps the people affected by unforeseen natural calamities.
N.S.S gives preference to socially improving works like laying and repairing rural roads and passages and also building smaller waterways.
The main motto of this scheme is to tap the uncontrolled talent from out of the students and use them for others. This proves a kind of useful experience to the students in life.
- Only first and second year students are allowed to join NSS.
- The NSS students should to hard work for about 120 hours per year.
- The student has to compulsorily work 2 years in the N.S.S so that he can get certificate.
- One who wants to join this scheme should be ready to serve others and should not be thinking of his own personal benefits.
