 Thiru. Vi. Ka. Govenment Arts College was established in 1970-71 with a view to providing quality education to the rural society in this part of the State. The institution is affiliated to the Bharadhidasan University, Tamilnadu and accredited by NAAC.This college is being managed and guided with meticulous care to be in conformity with all prudential standards, by the HODs and staffs members from different disciplines with vast experience, knowledge, with a vision to achieve the most preferred status globally. Being a greater source of encouragement to the students, we are apt to feel proud that we do our best in steering the students towards better and sometimes the best results pertaining to their University Examinations. Our college is bracing itself, to face the challenges of the future in the new millennium. I am glad that we are focusing on the needs of the students community in the new millennium as it will encourage the development of them i.e., the future citizens of the country.
